Very Frequent Flyer Posted December 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2013 This will be my first time cruising in an outside stateroom (on Rhapsody). On the previous 2 cruises, I had a balcony stateroom (Radiance and Voyager). Does the outside stateroom feel significantly smaller or will I not notice much difference? I loved having the sea breeze blow into the room in the balcony rooms but I guess I won't have this advantage in my upcoming cruise in an outside room. AuzzieCruiser Posted December 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2013 The cabins on Rhapsody are quite small compared to Voyager and Radiance. We managed to survive for 5 weeks and got used to the space around us.

The_Big_M Posted December 23, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2013 Is there enough space for 2 medium size suitcases? Under the bed is an ideal spot for those.
chrisb74 Posted December 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2013 I find the full size glass window of a balcony helps to open up the room compared to a small window. You also get better views. As for suitcases, under the bed or unpack and ask the room attendant to store them.
AuzzieCruiser Posted December 24, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 24, 2013 Is there enough space for 2 medium size suitcases? There should be enough space under the bed for two medium suitcases. Our large ones were just a tad too big. We put one in the wardrobe and the other one at the end of one of the beds as we had 2 single beds.
