Negotiating Promotions/Last Minute Cruising

Hi Everyone,

 

First time posting to the boards so I look forward to everyone's' input.

 

I just started throwing around the idea of going on a Celebrity cruise this next month (January) and got real excited when I saw the 321 deal was back. Unfortunately the promotion states that it starts in February, and my question (2 parts) is 1: Is it possible if calling Celebrity to negotiate a free beverage package due to the last minute nature of the cruises, and 2: if that isn't possible anyone have any special insight or suggestions on making such last minute bookings to get the best deals?

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

 

No way to guarantee you will get the "best deal." You just have to book when you're comfortable with the price being charged for the cabin you want.

 

The beverage package deal is for when it says it's good for. If it doesn't fit when you want to cruise, it doesn't work for you.

My suggestion is to shop around to different travel agencies and clubs that you might be a member of to make sure you get the best deal (on board credit, etc.).
