Where to sail to with 2 kids out of NY or NJ

Hi

 

I am a first time cruiser and would like to leave out of NY or NJ. I would like to cruise next July 2006 with my 8 yrs son and 11 yr old son and my hubby. Since It is our first time and my son it very scared i would like a 5 day cruise. I want something for the boys to do on board and a nice sunny beautiful place to see.

 

Any suggestions would be helpful .

Cruises out of NY/NJ are usuaally 7 days or longer, and go to either:

 

Bermuda

Caribbean

New England and Canada

 

There are lots of options from those ports, you can pare them down somewhat with any of the major travel sites on the Internet (Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, etc), or by talking to any cruise specialist travel agent.

Carnival Triumph has summer cruises to Nova Scotia, Canada that are only 4&5 days long...:) L.O.L.

The Explorer of the Seas departs from Bayonne, NJ in the summer of 2006. They are 5 day cruises to Bermunda. RCCL Voyager class ships are awesome for kids. They would enjoy it. We just sailed on the Mariner of the Seas in May, they are beautiful ships you would love it.
