Car Rental near San Pedro

We are on the Celebrity Century in April/May. We want to rent a car when we disembark.

 

Where is the best/closest place to rent one? Is it better to go back to LAX and rent from there? We will be dropping it off in Phoenix a week later.

I am assuming that you are disembarking in San Pedro and not Long Beach (I am not familiar with the Celebrity ports). You can rent from Enterprise at 235 W 6TH ST SAN PEDRO, CA 90731 Tel.: (310) 548-8060. They are located next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and have a shuttle to/from the pier. Not sure what the drop off fee would be for Phoenix. You will need to either call the location directly or the 800 # for Enterprise.
