Dropping Bags At Pier

How early can we drop our bags at pier? Coming down to San Juan a day early and would like to spend embarkation day in OSJ. Any help would be appreciated. We are sailing on Adventure on the 5the.

Maybe it has changed, but our experience in San Juan has been that they don't take bags until around 11am. We've also had to stand in a line to turn in bags.

Thx clarea. I'm hoping I can find a place to store our bags then. Would like to get an early start in OSJ.

Why not leave them with the bell hop at your hotel? Every hotel I have ever been in will hold them even if you are checked out.

Also, for late departures like San Juan, people have reported that they can check in on board, then deboard and enjoy San Juan until departure that evening.

Just bear in mind that the pier used for embarkation is the Pan Am pier which is NOT in Old San Juan.

They just have to be sure to be back in time for muster :)
