In my experience, it is better to make the specialty restaurant reservations on the day you decide to do it. You may miss your favorite time or day once in a while, but the odds are in your favor of getting what you want

No. On breakaway lobster is no longer served in MDRs but in buffet on second night. On all other ships the lobster is served in MDRs on embarkation night.
