Poker on the Grand

Never sailed on the Grand but my wife and I along with our parents are sailing on the Grand in March 2014 on a 7 Day CA coastal. We all like to play poker so we are wondering if the Grand has the Poker Pro table or a real dealer or any poker at all? Any info about Poker on the Grand would be appreciated.

The grand has a poker pro table. They offer tourneys on sea days. I thin between 75 and 100 to enter. If you want to sign up, be there when the cage opens. The tourney fills fast. After that, they offer cash games when the casino is open. I think they are 3/6 games.

As previously stated, it's 1/2 no limit Texas Holdem cash games and the tournaments have a $60.00 buy in with $350 for 1st and $150 for 2nd place ($100 of the entry fees goes to the casino). Most times we just chopped $250 each. Poker was so popular that we'd have to get to the casino 30 minutes before the cage opened to insure a seat. Our casino host began running 2 tournaments on sea days because of the popularity. Have fun!

Glad to hear there will be poker tournaments on sea days on Golden....so games are on the automated table, no live dealers?

That is correct. I played twice, its different, kind of like a combination of internet poker and live put together. It was fun. ;)
