Royal Carribean Allure of the Seas Jan 19 St Thomas Snorkel Question

We have booked the Champagne Catamaran snorkel shoe excursion for 2 adults and 1 child. If anyone has been or knows should we get some water shoes to wear as I am not sure if there is coral on the ocean bottom or not in this area. Not sure if we are wearing snorkel fins that will cover our feet or not as have not done this before.

Every snorkel excursion I have been on provides snorkel fins to wear so the decision is yours. I would get water shoes anyway and just wear them off the ship to the snorkeling boat.
