Is it true they don't offer the porterhouse anymore?

The only time I did the steakhouse, on the Dream, I got the porterhouse and it was probably the best steak I've had.

I also enjoyed the spinach and mushroom salad and the cheesecake.

Porterhouse was the best they offered and gone for a few years.

Got the cowboy steak once and it was rather fatty.

Now usually get the NY strip. Onion soup is outstanding.

Not thrilled with any of the desserts they offer though.

The ribeye and the lobster ravioli are fantastic. No one in our party of 8 liked their desserts. Between us we all had either the chocolate sampler or cheesecake. I love cheesecake, but theirs was terrible.

I agree on the cheesecake....it is HUGE, but I didn't like it at all. I bake cheesecakes and thought about offering Carnival some of my recipes :p

Cheesecake looks real good but lacking in taste dept. DW likes the choc sampler.

I have been known to get the cheese plate which I thought was ridiculous but no better idea came to me.

i like the cowboy steak as well

the 5 spice has a tang, but unless your super sensitive to heat, i would think you would be ok.

i dislike the cheesecake for the most part if you think traditional cheesecake. its CCL's version of a cheesecake so its tolerable, but I dont order it.

I love the lobster. DH got a steak, I am sure whatever was the biggest. DH had crab cakes I think and ceasar salad which was prepared tableside. He also had the cheesecake. I had lobster bisque, lobster, salad with the mushrooms (I think) and choc sampler. I ate all of the soup, picked at the salad, ate all of the lobster (yummy), just a taste of the potatoes and then 1-2 bites of each of the choc sampler. And I was stuffed. DH ordered the cheesecake, which was good but he couldn't finish it. It really is a lot of food and its very rich, which makes it even harder to finish.
