montego bay snorkeling

Have any of you done a montego bay snorkeling excursion? How was it? Do they have decent snorkeling? Has anyone used the company out of the hilton rose hall? Any other excursion companies you recommend? How are the fish/coral? Any chance of seeing turtles or other animals?

I have snorkeled in Jamaica (Montego Bay and Negril), Mexico and Hawaii. Compared to the other Jamaica is not good.

I snorkeled Montego Bay and saw some interesting formations, but nothing spectacular. Won't even bring my gear next trip there...

Jamaica is not the best snorkeling location, but if it's your only opportunity on your cruise, give it a shot. I've only snorkeled in Negril and OR, so not sure about Montego Bay. I did stay at the SANDALS Montego Bay and remember the area in front of the villas looking like awesome snorkeling, but I didn't do it there. You might want to check out a day pass and give it a try there.
