Ships Excursions in the Med

Can anyone tellmewhere to find the cost of excursions - cruising the Med and looking at Cannes;Florence;Rome;Athens;Ephasus; Santorini; Amalfi Coast.

 

Have not booked yet but do like to forward plan.

 

Also what is deck 3 like on Serenade of the Seas?

Go on RCI website and click on "find cruise" with Europe as destination and then click on blue section on top (like " Twelve Day Western Med" cruise) and then you can click on itinerary and excursions. Currently, not working though. Good luck.

Looks like we are doing the same cruise as you! Are you going from Barcelona on Friday 23rd May by any chance?

I'd suggest you look at what RCI is offering, then join the Roll Call for your cruise (if you haven't already) and see if there are any folks getting smaller tours together. We did the cruise line tour in Cannes, and it was nice, but it was not cheap. In Italy, we did small group tours with folks from our Connections group (Celebrity's 'Meet & Mingle') with Rome In Limo and we couldn't have been happier. We had 8-10 people on most of our tours and they were fantastic. If some people wanted to do one thing the driver would drop them there, and then take the rest of us to do something else. It was cheaper than the cruise line tours, and they were able to get us to places that the buses couldn't go.

We are on this cruise in May and have planned all of our excursions either on our own or with some of the others on our Roll Call.
