Courtesy Hold Question

Recommended Posts

I just put a hold on a specific room, but does the hold also lock in the price for 24 hours? The confirmation did not mention the price.

Thanks.

The Courtesy Hold locks in both the price when you put the hold on the cruise as well as your room.

If you decide to go forward with the cruise you picked, you just do your minimum deposit within 24 hours and you will be good to go.

Great news! Thanks for the responses. :)

And something to keep in mind, is if you wait until tomorrow to make a payment, the cruise price may drop because Royal Caribbean tends to do these "Tuesday WOW Sales".

If that is the case, it's nothing to cancel the courtesy hold then book under the cheaper price. Assuming that happens which is not unheard of.

Hopefully you see this before you make a payment on the cruise.

But as I said earlier about the sales, RCCL is doing a sale today for up to %20 off of a given cruise. Double check the cruise you have on hold and see if the price didn't drop. If it dropped, snatch up that cheaper price.

:D
