Why post here, just to aggravate?

Do we post that we like to "sit around the buffet and watch you stuff your face and gain weight"?

Do we post that we like to "sit in the pool area and watch you get a sunburn"?

Do we post that we like to "go to the gym and watch people sweat and have heart attacks"?

Why do you think it is ok to go onto a thread that is about CAS members and geared toward gamblers and mock gamblers? Did we ask you for a loan or something?

Leave us alone, we like to gamble, we will do it with or without comps, we do it with our own money, we have plenty of discretionary income.......

I don't pay for my cruises, drinks, spa treatments, or specialty dinners....

I have won a jackpot on almost every cruise I have taken......but I am certainly not "ahead" in that department.....

Don't mock us and we won't mock you.......its disrespectful

Amen! Thanks for posting this. I never gamble more than I can afford to lose, and enjoy every perk I get from CAS. I agree with Stephen: not understanding the OP's point.

Off topic but since the thought came to mind.....

I wish some of those who drink could say, "I never drink more than I can hold". Plus, there are no NCL perks for drinking. LOL

Nothing is free my friend, you may get all the freebies you list but you end up paying with your loses your not fooling anybody.

Casinos are in it to win and so are the cruise lines and even more so.

So you just go a head and enjoy your freebies as I stand around the tables and watch all people lose bundles. Great entertainment!

Someday I will have a perfect life too! I too appreciate your educational input. All along I thought the casinos were there to act like an ATM for us and would hand out money and jackpots above and beyond what was played. Go figure!

You may call it aggravating I call it the truth, if you have problem so be it! Some just can't stand the facts and/or thier addiction which of course is none of my business. Just stating the facts.

I'm sorry, with all due respect, no one asked you for the facts and/or stated that they had an addiction. You make assumptions that we have addictions.

The fact that you bring up addiction tells me that you may be coming from a place of pain. having had a loved one with a gambling addiction or perhaps you had one. If that is the case I am sorry for your pain. I agree that addictive gambling is a bad thing.

But to assume we are all addicted gamblers is unfair. Again, I don't pop onto the countless beverage package threads and accuse the drinkers of being alcoholics; I don't pop onto the myriad of "food porn" posts and accuse people of being addicted to food or tell the gym people they are anorexics. I read about people packing steamer trunks full of clothes, I don't tell them they are addicted to clothes and shoes. I don't tell the jewelry shoppers in St. Thomas not to go out and spend $25,000.00 on a new diamond for an Anniversary present. We are all adults here and we can all handle our finances fairly responsibly.......and I say "fairly" for a reason.

I look at your sea pass bill at the end of a cruise and I can't believe you bought a Thomas Kincade at the art auction, or your wife had a $75.00 pedicure......or you guys had a $250.00 couples massage....... You can't believe I dropped a few grand in the casino, made some friends, had a blast, left most mornings after the joggers had come out for their morning stroll in their short shorts:)

In the end you enjoy what you want and I enjoy what I want and I pay my way and you pay yours.......

This is why I have never been married, because I don't want anyone telling me how to spend my money...... I spent seven years studying to be a lawyer and I work 70 hour work weeks, if I want to sit in front of a slot machine and zone out while it sings to me and lights up....that, my friend, is my prerogative:)

I hope you enjoy your cruises.......doing whatever it is that you like to do!!!!

Just off Breakaway and Freestyle advertised point redemption on the 2nd to last night of cruise (Friday). I was bummed because on my 1/17/14 CTN I had posed this question to the Casino Host at the CAS cocktail party and she said that they would again be redeeming the last night and not the 2nd to last night anymore. To my surprise (and delight) on Saturday the Freestyle again had point redemption listed. I went to Players Club window Saturday afternoon to inquire about it and they said that it was the day before. I pointed out to them that the Freestyle had it listed for Saturday as well and they reluctantly agreed to redeem. Who knows what they will do this week or next month, the rules seem to change constantly, LOL.

Amen, sister! You just gave me my best laugh of the day...sit around and watch people get sunburned! LOL! :D People on their soapboxes can't accept gambling as our preferred form of entertainment...and one of the only forms of entertainment that gives you a little somethin'-somethin' back ;)

If you don't like the casino on a ship, go across the street or down the block to a different casino.

Only if you one of the seriously addicted degenerate worthless pieces of human dung referred to by an earlier poster. LOL!
