Do you have to pay to go in the Ice Bar?? We are on Getaway but assume it will be the same as for Breakaway/Epic? Do you need to pre-book or just turn up?

Anyone know whether Tropicana Dining room (with dance floor) is complimentary or not?

Thanks

Today, while experiencing the Artic Blast, going to an Ice Bar is not very appealing!

It's $20 and includes two drinks . I know they have vodka.

Feeling the blast here in NY- maybe I should drink a cosmo outside and pretend I'm on the Epic!!

Thanks for the info on prices. Do you have to pre-book or just turn up? Feel for you people suffering the big freeze, we're in the UK not cold but, lots of floods!! Take care all of you in the snow & ice:(

You will have to go to the Ice Bar which will have a little desk out front, from there you can pre-book. If there is no bookings at that time- they should let you right in. From my experience ,the ice bar opens after the ship sets sail or around 5:30.

We were on the Epic for New Years and yes we had to pre-book as it is quite small and they only allow a limited number in at a time. It was $20 per person and the 2 drinks you get are made with Vodka, Icewine, and fruit juice. Actually not bad. Good experience to try it but don't go in shorts and sandals like I did!!!!

The temperature inside the Ice Bar is 17*.

This morning the thermometer in my car said 5*.

I think we can take on the Ice Bar no problem!

Happy Cruising!
