scrapycruiser Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2014 We have booked a mini suite on the Lido Deck /Royal Princess. Anyone else ? Just wondering about the size of the balcony, Whether there were elevator issues. We're sure won't be walking up to our cabin from dinner. Also any motion issues being so high up ? Thanks in advance !

The balcony size is the same as most Royal balconies: @9'x4'. The only Lido balconies that are larger are L301 and L302. You're under the Retreat pool area so you may experience loungers being moved, deck power washing very early in the morning, etc. You're near the forward elevators and stairs which don't get as much use as the aft elevators. The higher you are, the more you'll feel ship movement. That's true on any ship. Stabilizers can do only so much and they're just for side-to-side movement. You'll feel more forward-to-aft movement being forward. Some people like the Lido cabins because it's so convenient to the main pool and buffet.
