We will be on the Gem next month with our son who is 2. I never had a reason to look at the children's menu before, so I'd like an idea of what type of food is offered. We eat really healthily at home, and he eats the same things we do, so he doesn't typically eat anything fried or hot dogs and pizza. Do they have healthy options on the kid's menu?? Can a child order from an adult menu?? TIA

My boys have ordered off the adult menu on every NCL ship we have sailed. Just know that they cannot change the portion size, so unless your little one has a huge appetite there will likely be leftovers. I've had good luck combining appetizers off the adult menu for a healthy meal for my boys.

My boys know they can order off the kids menu once during a cruise as a treat, and that I cringe at what they are eating lol!
