Liberty out of Port Canaveral

Just wondering if anyone knows.... I am on the first (I think it's the first) 5 day sailing on the Liberty on May 4 out of Port Canaveral. It looks like the itinerary for this this cruise goes to Key West instead of Half Moon Cay - any ideas why? Just curious, this will be our first time on the Liberty and we are already counting down!

Speculating that there were other ships already scheduled to sail to Half Moon Cay that week. Also Carnival may have chosen to sail to Key West regardless of Half Moon Cay's availability on that particular sailing. Some people (including myself) would prefer Key West over Half Moon Cay.

I'm with you on the Key West stop. Not being a beach person, to me it's a wasted day.

We will be on the Liberty in April out of Miami and going to neither of the above.

Our first stop is Nassau Bahamas. Was looking forward to going to Half Moon Cay too. Never been there.
