Esilef Posted January 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Is there a supermarket near the Sydney overseas passenger terminal? Prior to cruising I need to get a box of nappies, box of up & go's, 2 bottles of wine.
Tedirene Posted January 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Hi, The closest would be Coles near Wynyard Station and the other would be a Woolworths near Town Hall. If you google supermarkets near Circular Quay it may make it easier. Ted

For what you need to get you'll find a convenience store (and a Mr Liquor store) right at circular quay under the rail station. Bit more expensive than Coles or IGA which are further up town, but a lot more convenient. BTW...there was a CC thread on this very subject just on 12 months ago cheers
SydSailor Posted January 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) The closest supermarket is Woolworths, downstairs in the Met Centre on West side of George St, approx 3 blocks from OPT. Note that supermarkets in Aust do not sell alcohol so you will need a separate bottle shop for the wine. As the previous poster indicated, one can be found at Circular Quay. That's changed recently and NSW supermarkets (as with a number of other states) can now sell alcohol.

Esilef Posted January 14, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Might get our driver to stop at a supermarket with an attached bottle shop on the way from the airport. Might be easier & cheaper.
