No reservations for adult dining, we will eat MDR. Well, we don't do the short cruises, but if I did, I'd pack 2 pairs of capris, 3 t-shirts/blouses, and I'd be wearing a pair of long pants with a nice blouse. Light jacket, toiletries, meds, iPod, camera, cruise documents (signature page/passport or birth certificate & driver's license), sunglasses, maybe a book. Probably not enough room for the pirate gear we usually bring, but I'd try to fit some of it in, too, if I could. moki'smommy Posted January 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Way too much. No matter how I tell myself to cut down, I always end up with way more stuff than I need.
ribbitt Posted January 14, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted January 14, 2014 That's what I'm afraid of OVER PACKING !! I don't usually take the quick 3 night cruises either, but this was one of those too good to pass up rates for a weekend getaway with just the husband. We will be celebrating his birthday. I can pack for a family of 4, 7 night, 2 formals in 30 mins or less, I have my go to pieces. I don't usually cruise in the winter months, I tend to be cold in the dining room and theatres in the summer. The more I am reading, it looks like the MDR dress code has become more relaxed. We are usually the ones dressed up when everyone else is in jeans. I thought for this trip, I would try to lighten the load, pack one small bag and go with it.
