Nordlys Departing Bergen on March 4th to Kirkenes

We are going the on Nordlys on 15th March. I hope you enjoy your trip. I am looking forward to it but am apprehensive about going on a small ship in the winter months.

I went on the Polarlys 12 nights RT Bergen to Kirkennes last to March leaving Bergen on March 6 (I think). Yes, it was cold. Yes, we all to had wear extra clothing and boots, etc. But, I loved the small ship and the people I met.

 

And I have never seen such spectacular scenery. Add to that we saw the Northern Lights a couple of times. I'd go again in a heart beat.

I have been three times with Hurtigruten in winter (MS Polarlys - similar to MS Nordlys - once, and MS Lofoten twice). I have amazing memories of these trips. If you have any particular worry just ask ;) (or look on this board, there are many discussions about Hurtigruten in winter).

 

OT : I'm glad to meet you, when I joined CruiseCritics I wanted to use Sarnia as my login name and was told it was already taken, so I had to be a little creative! :p
