MoBro713 Posted January 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Does anyone know of a limo service that can pick up our group of 9 at LAX and drive us to our hotel in San Pedro? Thanks.
Gunner22aa Posted January 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Both offer everything from vans to private limos at the airport. With a party of 9 you can probably get your own van. Google them.
Cruisin' Chick Posted January 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I wouldn't call either of those a limo service.
Gunner22aa Posted January 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I agree that they are not although they do offer limos. Used one last Nov. Fact is with 9 people to accomodate the van is probably the most logical option considering luggage and alike. Sure they can probably find a 20 passenger party limo to accomodate them but the trunk won't be any bigger than a standard limo.

Sure they can probably find a 20 passenger party limo to accomodate them but the trunk won't be any bigger than a standard limo. And there in lies the rub for the limo. I wanted to hire a limo from my house to LAX but to take the luggage they wanted me to pay for another vehicle. The girl read the prices off to me and I said back to her, "do you really expect me to pay $240 to bring my luggage?". That seems reasonable to you. She said yes and I told her she must make a whole lot more money then me. They literally wanted me to hire a 2 limos, one for people one for luggage (or a van). As fun as a limo would be, if you've got more then hand luggage then it is not cost effective.
Cruisin' Chick Posted January 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) I think we paid about half of that or even less for On Time to pick us up at our house in the Valley and take us to the port (50 miles, which is a longer distance than LAX-port) in a SUV (or it could have been a mini-van). We had three people, two large suitcases, a guitar case, two packbacks, two carry-ons, and two large plastic crates (for beverages, music binder/stand, etc). (hey, it was a two-week cruise) Edited January 15, 2014 by Cruisin' Chick
