WE had a cove on the magic a few years ago and loved loved it!! It is very close to the water and you can see the dolphins and alot of flying fish!! we did have a lifeboat above us but it wasnt in the way of seeing stuff at all... i liked how it is inclosed and yes my husband is 6 feet and stretched out on the chairs... there is alot of room... have fun!

There were dolphins in the port of Galveston. After we boarded the Magic and were able to get into our cove balcony we sat and watched 3 dolphins play right next to us. Almost felt like we could reach out and touch them.

There is room for a mattress...but you'd have to remove the other furniture that is out there, and you might get yourself and the mattress wet. I don't know if that would result in a charge or not.

ya didnt think of thst.I dont want to pay for a ruined mattress.. not sure if its allowed on ship but I got a inflatable cot. When deflated can fit in luggage but can inflate it and put it on balcony.

Yes, you can fit a cot in the Cove Balcony, go for it. You might wake up a tad wet from slight ocean spray for being out there that long. lol

Will be on the magic and got a cove balcony. Is thr baloney big enough for a 5 foot 4 guy to sleep out there? Also how close is it to water? I heard 20 feet.

I've checked Zydecocruiser's website, and as far as I can tell, there's no baloney offered on any of the Magic's menus. Guess you'll have to bring your own.
