How soon to get in line for tender to meet an excursion?

You need to keep an eye on the Freestyle Daily the night before - the tender tickets for passengers not having priority (suite guests, other VIPs and people on NCL excursions) will be handed out probably early that morning in a place like library, pool deck, etc (place varies by the ship). It has been reported that on many occassions they start earlier than planned so you need to get there early if you want to be among the first ones to get off the ship. After you have the tender tickets, just listen to the announcements that will tell you when your ticket number is up for tendering.

In Grand Cayman they use local tenders and those boats are big so tendering process in whole is faster than it would when they use ship's own boats.
