Bob100 Posted July 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2005 This being my first cruise, I was wondering what people do to keep their room key/money/miscellaneous items dry while engaging in water-related excursions? thanks!
czarinahil Posted July 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2005 I bought a waterproof fanny pack for my Tahitian Princess cruise this past February and while it worked great, I found that with most of the excursions I took I didn't need it as I felt comfortable leaving my valuables on the vehicles I was taking as part of the excursion. I found the fanny pack online by doing a search for waterproof fanny packs on yahoo. Hilary
RNay Posted July 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2005 We always bring our water wallet that we bought on Princess Cays. It's a little bigger than the flat ones we see now. It has room for money, cards, my watch, even chapstick. It comes in handy on excursions and even around the ship and it's lightweight.
Stranger1 Posted July 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2005 I use a hard case water wallet that's slim and fits both of our room cards, a credit card and money. That's about all I've found a need for while off of the ship. You can get these and others at most sporting goods stores, Walmart/Target and even on most of the ships. sprinkles Posted July 19, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2005 We love our wallet we got from http://www.splashcaddy.com they have different sizes, I think the lowest is around $19.99. DH wears it around his waist and it has two ziplock pouches to keep things dry in. Tammy
