What time is good to arrive at pier? When do we start boarding?

That thread says about what I would recommend. We like to arrive around 10:30. There might be some wait for processing or the ship to begin boarding, but you will be near the head of the line. Then as soon as you walk on board, the vacation has begun.

And it will of course vary by ship, port, etc.
