What to do in Long Beach before evening flight

We are departing Carnival in Long Beach and flight home leaves at 6:00pm. We'll have luggage so not sure if we can be lugging bags all over town. Can't get anyone to answer at LGB airport about lockers to store them. Any ideas?

There is no luggage storage at the airport.

 

 

You could tour the Queen Mary which is a 1 minute walk from the Dome. The hotel bellman (tip him!) will hold your luggage.

 

Another ideas to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific. They will hold luggage. It can be done in as little as two hours or you can linger all day and never see the same exhibit twice.

 

Transportation---

Walk to the Queen Mary.

 

Take a taxi or the free Passport bus to the Aquarium. Strongly recommend using this only if you travel lightly. The bus is split- first third is closer to the ground for WC access, in the raised back area the seats are a tight fit.

The Passport stop at the Queen Mary --Out of the Dome turn right. Go past the Crew travel office and into the parking lot. The Bus is parked straight ahead under the trees.

 

You can arrange a shuttle service from either place or they can call a taxi.

You need to be at LAX at 4.pm. With no traffic it's only 30 minutes to LA. Add an hour for rush hour
