Former VIP program extended?

Does anyone know if the former Carnival VIP program has been extended for those to be grandfathered in? I know you had to complete your 10th sailing by Dec. 31, 2013 to become Platinum under the old program; however, I will be sailing on my 10th cruise in February 2014 and my documents all state priority and I am listed as platinum. Did I just get lucky?

Depending on the length of all your cruises 75 days you hit plat. so if all your cruises were 7 days, you'll be plat on this cruise coming up. this is the new program.

so as you say, you either got lucky, or you have that many days sailed plus your booked one.

They only Platinum extension that should exist are for people who had cruises cancelled on the Triumph during that debacle, but I'm not sure of the details for that.

I think the settings in their databases are messed up so it is still grandfathering. If the early boarding were important to you, I'd print my passes and luggage tags now in case it changes.
