brenda.princeroberts Posted January 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2014 Hi everyone, I'm sure this question has been asked and answered but I would really appreciate any advice that you might have to give. We are trying to plan a cruise with a group of people, including a number of kids aged 8-16. We are looking to cruise out of NY or NJ so that leaves us with the Carnival Splendor, RC Explorer of the Seas or Norwegian Breakaway or Gem, I believe. Norwegian is a bit pricey so I'm narrowing it down to the Splendor or Explorer of the Seas. At first glance, Explorer seems to have more for the kids to do, ie. skating, rockwall. We will have 4 days on the ship. Could the Splendor keep the kids occupied for that length of time? It is the least expensive. The itineraries are pretty much the same. We are all first time cruisers. Any insight would be very welcome! Thanks, Brenda

boulders Posted January 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Explorer of the Seas, no question. After our one and only Carnival cruise, ds12 and dd9 made me promise not to take them on another Carnival cruise.
