Can anyone tell me if any of the shops or the Casino open on on the first night leaving Baltimore. Not sure what to expect as we have never sailed out of Baltimore. Thank You.:)

Yes, I believe they both opened later the first night after we were sufficient distance from the port.

 

We had 6pm dinner so I can't say when exactly though.

I think the casino opened about an hour after we left port. In November the shops opened then as well. When we were on in December the ship said that they could not open the shops while in the Chesapeake. This meant they were closed the first night and closed at 8:30 the last night. Shops included the photo gallery.

Yes, they are open the first night leaving Baltimore. Can't remember exactly (we've been on both GR and EN out of Baltimore). I'm pretty sure they were all open by 9 with the casino opening earlier than the shops I think.

This was our experience also in January.

According to the Cruise Compass from Dec. 14th, 2013, Casino Royal opened at 5 p.m. ... the shops however were noted as being closed on Day One.
