Favorite Caribbean snorkeling spots?

On the following islands:

Barbados

Dominica

Martinique

St. Lucia

St. Martin

St. Thomas

 

Ideally, places that are relatively easy to get to from the ship and that have some amenities for my mom, who is not a snorkeller. Thanks!

I can't speak for all the islands but I was not impressed with St. Maartin. I was sorry I didn't take a different excursion on this island because it looks so interesting.

St Thomas: ships tour of St John on your own and take the taxi to Trunk Bay which is a National Park with the normal amenities and the snorkeling is from the beach. Very easy.

St Lucia: Jalousie Beach, the Marine Reserve which is between the Pitons, also great snorkeling from the beach. You can do Cosol or Spenser Ambrose for an island tour and they spend an hour or so there.

Barbados: there is a sunken boat out from the Boatyard that is an easy swim from the beach.

Just choosing from the islands mentioned, I'd have to say St. John-Trunk Bay.
