Dunfer Posted January 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Is anyone on the island this week that can tell me what the weather/water temperature is like? I will be there February 3rd, would like to do the Stingrays, but not if the weather and/or water are too frigid (below 70 degrees). I'm from Central Florida, and it is COLD here right now! drew sailbum Posted January 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) It has been cold for the past week by Cayman standards. That means a daytime highs in mid to low 70s. The all time record overnight low in Cayman is 52 degrees back in the 1950s Currently it is 81 degrees and mostly cloudy. Once this stalled weather front pushes on through it should warm up to mid 80s. Ocean water temp is never as cold as low 70s. It could get down to about 77 in the worst case. Typically is bottoms out about 79 in the coldest part of winter. Swimming pools can get colder. Edited January 24, 2014 by drew sailbum
