We are now doing our single digit dance! 9 days before sailing away on the Sensation. We are so excited! We have 23 people and first cruise for most of us. Any suggestions would be appreciated...:):):):)

My first suggestion... Have Fun! The Sensation is older ship but still a good ship. We sailed on her last November and the staff was great. We did hit some rough seas coming back from Nassau, but that happens. We shopped in Freeport and did a day pass at the Riu. Have a great cruise.

I'll be getting off when you are ready to board. It is an older ship, but a great crew... I get to cruise this one with a new cruise buddy that I met on the Dream in Dec, we'll take good care of her for you.

We will be on the same ship! Our sixth cruise. I learn to let things go and not worry about so much - especially those things you have little to no control over..like an overcast day - it is better than snow and - 20 degrees C here in Ontario! Have fun, don't over think things. Enjoy your time with your group.

1) Have fun!

2) 4 days is not a long time - it will fly by - make sure you set aside a few moments to just take it all in. There is nothing like being out in the middle of the ocean with no visible land for miles and miles.

3) Carnival excels at lunch options - don't miss the deli, Mongolian Wok (try it the first day before everyone else discovers it), Pizza Pirate, and Seaday Brunch.

4) The Funtimes are your friend - make yourself a plan each day as to what you would like to do. That way, you won't feel like you are missing out. Between the Shows in the theater, the comedy shows, live music, karoake, casino, trivia, pools, waterslides, hot tubs, spa, fitness center, mini-golf, etc. there is a lot going on, even on a small ship.

5) And finally, don't sweat the small stuff. Problems inevitably will arise, but they are all fixable.
