Labadee Cabanas

They were very nice. We had cabanas 1&2. They were behind a wall with a gate to enter. Cabana 1 had stairs. Cabana 2 a ramp. Around the bend was a bar and the rest rooms. Each cabana had 2 cushioned lounge chairs, a cooler with Evian bottles, cushioned couches and a ceiling fan. The walk to the upgraded buffet was very short. Just around the bend. We just got back on Tuesday and we enjoyed them. Lots of shade if that's what you are looking for. Anything else just ask :)

If you go to the Private Island Forum in the Ports of Call section,

there are several threads with pictures and descriptions about Nellies Beach Cabanas.

We had an over-the-water cabana on Nellies Beach and it was very nice. However, if you plan on doing excursions on Labadee like jet skiing or zip lining, this does take away the time you are enjoying your cabana and you have to walk a bit to get to each one. We shared our cabana with our friends who did some excursions while we were there and they hardly had time to enjoy the cabana and all it had to offer. They are not cheap so I just wanted to point this out.

Hey

Do you get a good view of the beech and sea from the beech cabanas?

Got one booked for March, don't suppose you have any photos do you?

Are they as private as the rest?

Thanks

Zjc

The cabanas in the 3rd photo...are those the hillside cabanas?

No, If you look to the far left of the photo, there is a Cabana that is within the lines for Barefoot Beach. That is Hillside #6 and #7, which is not in the photo is next to that one. They overlook the water but you cannot access the water from those cabanas. You have to walk to the beach area. We had #7 and it was very private. We loved it but if there are mobility problems, you do not want to get a Hillside cabana. We did all of our access via Barefoot Beach.
