Time to get to Marigot and back

My tour ends in Philipsburg at 1:30 and the ship departs at 5:00. With only 2 ships in port, will I have enough time to get to Marigot and back and still have at least an hour to shop or should I look for something else for the afternoon?

Though the trip to Marigot can probably be made in about 35 minutes on a good day with no traffic, I would plan on about 1 hr. each way to be safe. If your tour ends at 1:30 and you would need to be back on your ship by 4:30 I don't really see a trip over to Marigot to be very realistic and certainly not relaxing.

Agree with Ocean Boy. Also, your tour may take longer too. Phillipsburg has a lot of shops if that is what you are interested in doing.

That's what I thought. The tour has 1 hour allotted for Marigot. If I need more, I'll just have to plan another cruise :rolleyes:.
