Champagne Fountain on Royal

The Patter mentions the champagne fountain from 7:00 to 8:00 on the Royal Tuesday evening. Will there be enough time for me to enjoy the fountain "pour" and partake of a glass of bubbly and still make my 7:30 reservations at Crown Grill that evening?

Get there earlyish and get in line, and you should have no problem; they really herd 'em through. As to the free champagne...the less said the better.

Here is hoping they don't operate the Royal as they do the Coral. Even if you have been in line for a while, should the closing time arrive (even 4 minutes prior to closing) they shut it down, right in the face of the passengers still waiting in line.

 

I do hope the crew of royal have more class than that!

What you will miss if you leave for dinner at 7:30 is the introduction of the ship's officers and the Captain's welcome speech.

You can always just get the glass of champagne and carry it to Crown Grill, you don't have to gulp it down in the Atrium if the time is short.
