Beach and Mountain Top Bar

I know you have a view of Magen's Bay from The Mountain Top Bar but which beach with amenities would be the best bet for the beach then stop at Mountain Top on the way back?

I'll be on the Valor so I am assuming the dock will be Havensight.

Is it easy enough to take a cab from the pier to these locations?
