We are platinum on RCCL. We are sailing for the first time on Celebrity. I read on the RCCL website that if I call, my RCCL status will be recognized by Celebrity, and any associated benefits. Is this worthwhile pursuing? Has anyone had experience with this in the past? Thank you all for your help!

Call Celebrity's Captain's Club 1.800.760.0654, have your Crown & Anchor number(s) available. It should only take a few minutes.

 

You will get the equivalent status, but you won't accumulate Crown & Anchor points if you do decide to go back to RCCL, if that's important to you.

 

We were Platinum/Emerald on RCCL and the equivalent status on Celebrity is Select. You can check out the benefits on Celebrity's website. I think the only thing we used was the Gelatto coupon (which is given to all the tiers), and we went to the senior officers' cocktail party.
