ostrich farm? Donkey Sanctuary?

Has anyone been to Ostrich Farm recently? They used to offer transportation back and forth but I guess not anymore. How much would a cab cost to get there and then to eagle beach? Also wondering if the donkey sanctuary is anywhere near either of these two places and how far away from the port are they?

It may be more economical to rent a car. If you are going to the Ostrich Farm you could also visit the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins as well as collapsed Natural Bridge. They are both close by the Ostrich Farm.

 

Taxi fare from the cruise terminal to the Ostrich Farm is $23 each way.

Taxi from the Ostrich Farm to Eagle Beach is $25.

Taxi from Eagle Beach to the cruise terminal is $10.

 

The Ostrich Farm is about 2 miles down the road from the Donkey Sanctuary.

 

Taxi fare from the cruise terminal to the Donkey Sanctuary is $19 each way.

Taxi from the Donkey Sanctuary to Eagle Beach is $24.

 

Taxi fares are set by the government and are per ride not per person for a maximum of up to 5 people per taxi. Add an additional $3 each way on Sundays and National Holidays.

I'm sure you would have mentioned this if it were an option, but does the bus go to these places?

Not sure how to get there, but we visited the Donkey Sanctuary while on tour with Bully a few years ago (I asked him to include it and he did so willingly - Bully is AWESOME btw). I loved it! :cool:

The public bus does NOT go to the sanctuary or the farm.
