Princess Golden Eagle experts

I've posted this question on the St. Maarten board too, but since we'll be booking this excursion (on Oct. 26) through Princess, I wanted to ask experienced Princess travellers. Given that this is a cruiseline-arranged excursion, we'll be escorted from the ship to wherever the Golden Eagle is docked, correct? And then when the GE tour is finished, same thing in reverse? Or is the Golden Eagle close enough to walk to? How long is the tour? I've read somewhere that there are restrooms aboard so you can change clothes at the end. Any additional details will be welcome. Pictures too. Thanks.

We have sailed on the Golden Eagle three or four times and we have it booked again for this fall.

You will be escorted to the end of the pier (a short walk) where you will board the Golden Eagle, then you will be returned to the same spot on the return. No need for an escort back as it is just a short ways down from where your ship will dock.

Yes, there are restrooms onboard, but they are Marine restrooms, down some stairs and they are very small. They will instruct those who do not know how to use one on the proper way to pump and flush. :D I don't think I have ever seen anyone get changed onboard after swimming before though as the return is a real party with drinking, dancing and singing on every trip, very relaxed and warm enough to keep those swimsuits on. The cruise goes over to the French side to a beautiful semi secluded beach on Tintamar, where at times the nudist catamaran also brings in a group. They have stayed on their side and us on ours except once where they did a 'walk by' just as we were boarding to return. Never could understand why those that should keep their clothes on take them off and vise versa. lol I thought the smaller children on our CAT were going to go blind at this time. ;) Not actually a tour I think I would want to take my grandchildren on just in case the nudists do show up, which they always have.

This is a very large catamaran and everyone has a great time. They now seem to offer only the morning tours where it used to be morning and afternoon tours. If memory serves me correctly, It will last about 4 hours.
