Cruise Arizona Posted February 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Anyone recently off Silhouette got the scoop on which fitness classes are included in the price of the cruise and which ones were for a fee. Last year Zumba was free on the pool deck, yoga and Pilates were for a charge in the fitness center.
miched Posted February 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2014 Every cruise has early morning 30 minute stretch session followed by a 30 minute session for abs or legs. The latter is as intense as you want or make it. These are at 7 and 7:30 a Then there is the Zumba that is more of a fun activity. People join or leave when ever they want. Looks more like a line dancing session. I have seen where some have a workout in the pool. We workout everyday and when we cruise we have decided to give our body a rest. Exercising on the ship isn't the same and a occassional rest or break is needed. 🌅🌴🍸🍻
JanineM Posted February 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2014 On Silhouette 1/19/14 cruise - Two Zumba classes a day on MOST days (8:45 am and 3:45 pm) on the pool deck. The instructor, Linell, is a licensed Zumba instructor and the class was a full hour and it was GOOD. With Zumba the class is what you make of it - and if you had space to move, you could really get a good workout. He led a pretty vigorous class. I think Linell is a member of the entertainment staff. He was in the blazer at the Captains Club party. The paid classes were as usual, Pilates, Spinning, Boot Camp all cost extra.
