Question about GTY rooms

Hi! Just booked our first cruise for 12/7 on the breakaway. We opted for an inside GTY room- knowing it was a gamble. We already have a room assigned. Is it likely that they'll change the room number again, or is it permanent once it's assigned?

It's not permanent but it's anybody's guess whether and when it will be changed.

Once our guarantee room number was assigned it never changed.

Hard to say. It might change, but maybe not. December is a long way out, so who knows?
