I am looking at excursions for belize (truthfully wish they skip this port and stay in roatan) and am stuck between xuantiech ruins and cave tubing. My thing with the ruins is the 4 hours on a bus. I hate public transportation likenbuses and subway trains. I feel that would put me in a bad mood before got to ruins. Ao decided look at alternatives as wont be back to belize for a long time so want it special.

I hear alot of people rave about the cave tubing. Loving to hike and nature this seemed better choice but ive heard mixed reviews on the matter.

Can anyone offer thier opinions on what they recommend

For a first time must do in belize.

We did Altum Ha/River Wallace tour last time. For next May we're snorkeling with the sharks.

One possibility if you like ruins is to combine Altum Ha with cave tubing. I remember when researching that at least one company did this. That way you get a taste of both. Especially if you do not think you will get back soon.
