Trolly for sightseeing?

We will arrive in Ft Lauderdale for a pre-cruise stay at Hyatt near the Harbor Shops. We will get to the hotel pretty early so was thinking of using the trolly to sightsee for a few hours. When we return from our cruise on a Sunday we will not fly home till Monday early evening so we won't have to be at the airport till about 4:30pm. We are staying at the Hyatt again. Looking for something to do for these days without renting a car. Although we have been to Ft Lauderdale many times we have not really explored anything as my 88 year old mom cruises with us and we use a transport chair for her. She can walk very short distances and climb a few steps. If I understand correctly there is a trolly stop near the harbor shops?

Not sure what runs or what's open on Sunday's. Can anyone who has done this or who lives in Ft Lauderdale give any advice?
