We have an upcoming cruise on the Serenade and looking ahead to November I think we are going to try a Celebrity cruise. Is it possible to book a Celebrity cruise on board an RCI ship?

Absolutely. Just make sure that you specify which cruise line you want to book with when you meet with the LA.
