We are about to book a 3 night disney cruise next Aug 24. I am going with my sister and her family. Our daughters are 1 1/2 years apart. My daughter will be 9 and niece just 3 months shy of 8. The camp group that my daughter will be in starts at age 8. WIll they give us a hard time having my niece in this group. We want to keep the girls together and would hate to have my daughter go to a younger group. Last year on Carnival they did not give us a hard time. She will be 8 in 3month. Has anyone else every had a problem???

DCL's rule is that you must be within one month of your birthday to move up to the next age group. If the Lab has space available, they might allow your niece to move up on a trial basis. If the counselors feel that your niece isn't a good fit, they can and will ask you to remove her and put her back in the lower age group. It doesn't hurt to ask, but be prepared to find out the answer might be no.
