Conquest - Balcony 7396 and Inside 7407

Any insights would be helpful. I saw the deck layout and see the inside is near elevator...would that be okay? Nosiy? Can I call Carnival and change the stateroom without any penalty?

We had friends stay in 7402 on a cruise, we were in 7408.

Neither of us complained about noise from the elevator. There was normal door slamming and people going up and down the hallway, but it was no noisier than the mid-deck room I had on our second cruise.

The more u drink, the less u hear.... that has always been my rule of thumb for cruising. No problems here. LoL

Though.... last year the ppl next door complained that we laughed too loudly. :eek::mad::rolleyes::D
