Papeete 4X4 Excursion

I want to take a 4x4 excursion during our pre-cruise time on Tahiti. I am trying to decide if we should go for the half day or the full day. I am leaning toward full day because I do not want to miss anything, but not sure how long of a trip this really is. I would like to hear from anyone who did half day or full day and what was good or bad and if you would have preferred the other option.

Any ideas on this would be helpful.
