It is a short walk from the pier to the trolly stop. Cannot remember the name of the pier but we printed off the map for the trolly and it shows how to get there. Maybe a 10 minute walk at the most. I believe there is only one port used by the cruise ships anymore.

There are 3 ports, The "Mole" over at the Navy base and the only way on and off is by a trolley since it is secured and then there is Pier B in front of the Westin and Mallory Square Pier. Carnival usually uses Mallory Square and it is maybe a 5 - 10 minute walk over to the City Trolley.

When we were there in November a Disney ship was over at Pier B.

From what I read some Carnival boats will use the Navy Base but only if there are other boats in port that day. ports dot cruisett dot com will tell you about what other boats are in port the same day as you. Gives you an idea on how busy it might be.
