Hi there,

Thinking of doing one of these tours with beach tour's included. It says on their website that the tour last for 5.5 hours. Also our children are 12, 11 and 7 would Maho (?) beach where airplanes land be ok for children and would Orient Beach be REALLY busy, but still recommended? Wondered if anyone could tell me though if doing this tour will give us anytime for shopping at the end of tour.

We are going there on the Freedom of seas in April which docks at 8am and leaves at 5pm. Not sure what would be latest time we could get back to ship? Not really the latest but if anyone knows what time it leaves?

Sorry if this isn't a question for here but elsewhere, just wondered if anyone had had experience with this.

If you book with Bernard, you will be returned to your ship on time. They are good about watching the clock. And they know traffic conditions. He'll tell you when he'll have a guide at the pier center for you. And when he'll have you back.

We always ask our tour guides to have us back an hour before scheduled sailing time. But others just ask for a 30 min window. We get too nervous. Yes, Bernard will get you to the beach for the plane landings. The flight schedule usually has the largest planes arriving mid day. He knows the schedule and won't take you there unless you can get the "full effect". Your kids will love it.

Orient Beach is busy most days. If you want time on a beach, it's up to you and Bernard to pick the beach...IF you are doing a private tour. If touring with others, I think he always uses Orient Beach.
