AmyWrites Posted February 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2014 We've already been on the Jewel, loved it, and now we're considering a B2B. I like the more intimate atmosphere of the Jewel, but my husband complained about a lack of onboard activities. I went on the Adventure many years ago, and... it was loud and just overwhelming, but we went in July. We're thinking of taking this B2B in October-November. Anyone who's been on these ships recently willing to weigh in? I'm very unsure.
bettyboop16 Posted February 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Hi, We just completed a b2b on the Jewel 2/15. It was a fantastic vacation! It wasn't perfect. We loved the itinerary & had a great time in all the ports. There weren't many children on board either week. Most nights there was something going on... shows, music , dancing. We were never bored. We haven't been on the Adventure. Betty,
CVU Posted February 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2014 We loved our B2Bs on Explorer, same class as Adventure. It has a promenade with Jewel doesn't. We prefer bigger ships like Oasis, Voyager or Freedom Class but have been on Jewel for B2B TA as well and it was great!!
cruizeblues Posted February 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2014 Another vote for Adventure. Both ships are awesome in their own way...loved Seaview Cafe on Jewel, loved Promenade Cafe on Adventure. Loved outdoor WJ seating on Jewel, loved larger pool & solarium on Adventure. Guess I'd be happy on either but Adventure was my first cruise...never get over your first love! :)
